Rich, chocolatey, and deep. We roasted this Colombian to the darker side of medium to bring out the full flavors of the Colombian Andes.
This coffee was grown and processed by the Cometa family in Colombia's southwestern Cauca department. The Cometa family is comprised of seven multigenerational producers who are working closely with agronomists and exporters to improve their growing, harvesting, and processing methods.
Coffee is a family business. This exceptional lot was grown and processed by the Cometa family in Cauca and then artisan roasted by our own family in Bozeman, Montana. This coffee is the culmination of our families' devotion to creating the best possible cup so the Yellowstone Coffee Community can enjoy this coffee with their own families everywhere.

While traveling down the Yellowstone River in 1806, Captain William Clark discovered a small creek flowing out of western Montana’s Crazy Mountains. They later named this stream 'Big Timber Creek' in honor of the giant cottonwood trees that lined the banks of the crystalline waterway. Several decades later, pioneers settled this wide-open valley and designated the community 'Big Timber' after the Corps of Discovery.
This signature blend goes back to Yellowstone Coffee’s foundation and has remained a long-time favorite for brisk mornings on the river and powder days at Bridger Bowl.
