The ASPROCDEGUA cooperative in west-central Guatemala is comprised of 664 active members. In recent years, the co-op has implemented more sustainable practices and has been certified as Fair Trade Organic. Members of the cooperative have an average of two hectares of land where they grow coffee and other crops like citrus, bananas, and avocado to improve crop diversification.
Families associated with the cooperative are offered technical assistance such as soil analysis, farm testing, and have access to additional programs that offer members better access to healthy food and improved education. Programs like these are making a serious difference in coffee producing communities and in the overall quality of the product.
Guatemala Huehuetenango is our most balanced offering. Notes of red berry and natural sugars highlight this well-rounded, clean cup.
Big Sky Lift is our signature blend that celebrates the Land of Shining Mountains and Montana's Big Sky.
This coffee's heavy body and smooth finish have made this a classic Yellowstone Coffee since 1998.
While traveling down the Yellowstone River in 1806, Captain William Clark discovered a small creek flowing out of western Montana’s Crazy Mountains. They later named this stream 'Big Timber Creek' in honor of the giant cottonwood trees that lined the banks of the crystalline waterway. Several decades later, pioneers settled this wide-open valley and designated the community 'Big Timber' after the Corps of Discovery.
This signature blend goes back to Yellowstone Coffee’s foundation and has remained a long-time favorite for brisk mornings on the river and powder days at Bridger Bowl.
Buffalo Blend is a tribute to the American bison that have called Yellowstone home since prehistoric times. Just like the buffalo that roam the western plains, this dark roast is strong, brilliant, and bold.
