Guatemala

The ASPROCDEGUA cooperative in west-central Guatemala is comprised of 664 active members, most of whom are certified Fair Trade Organic producers. Members of the cooperative have an average of two hectares of land where they grow coffee and other crops like citrus, bananas, and avocado to improve crop diversification.

Families associated with the cooperative are offered technical assistance and services such as soil analysis, farm testing, and other programs that offer its members better access to healthy food and improved education.
