We roasted this classic tasting Nicaraguan coffee to highlight its balanced flavor profile. This coffee starts with smooth chocolate and finishes with sweet citrus notes that remind us of cara cara oranges.
This coffee from Nueva Segovia is a labor of love from the Albir sisters, Ana and Martha. The Albirs inherited their passion for coffee from their father who started the Cafetos de Segovia micromill in 1991. Today, the Albir sisters own and operate that same mill where they help families from the region process and export their coffees.
Nicaragua Segovia is a suitable choice for any brew method, and we are finding it plays especially well as a pour over coffee with a brew time between 4-5 minutes.
