Big Sky Lift is our signature blend that celebrates the Land of Shining Mountains and Montana's Big Sky.
This coffee's heavy body and smooth finish have made this a classic Yellowstone Coffee since 1998.
While traveling down the Yellowstone River in 1806, Captain William Clark discovered a small creek flowing out of western Montana’s Crazy Mountains. They later named this stream 'Big Timber Creek' in honor of the giant cottonwood trees that lined the banks of the crystalline waterway. Several decades later, pioneers settled this wide-open valley and designated the community 'Big Timber' after the Corps of Discovery.
This signature blend goes back to Yellowstone Coffee’s foundation and has remained a long-time favorite for brisk mornings on the river and powder days at Bridger Bowl.
Perfect for the office or for travel, the Bonavita Mini Kettle uses an internal 900-watt heater for ultra-fast boiling. The durable stainless steel design comes with an auto shut-off function for safety.
Buffalo Blend is a tribute to the American bison that have called Yellowstone home since prehistoric times. Just like the buffalo that roam the western plains, this dark roast is strong, brilliant, and bold.

Last winter we joined Cafe Imports on a sourcing trip in central Colombia. During our travels we discovered this particular coffee while sampling some of Colombia’s highest scoring regional lots at a cupping table in the quaint village of Inza, Cauca.
Traveling alongside Cafe Imports revealed the development and improved quality of coffee throughout Colombia. By implementing new farming techniques, technology, and education, Cafe Imports and their partner Banexport are helping create a better, more sustainable product.
By paying producers an additional premium for exceptional Regional Select coffees, importers are increasing the wages of farmers whose coffees have improved in quality and are motivating other producers to implement new practices to strengthen their own coffees.
Bright, vibrant, and lively, this offering from the southern department of Huila embodies the spirit of Colombia. This Huila coffee bursts with juicy red fruit, pleasant acidity, and subtle floral notes.
In 2003, a farmer named Joachim Munganga restored a washing facility in the remote Lake Kivu region in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Joachim's restoration efforts inspired the founding of the SOPACDI cooperative which has since grown to more than 5,000 active members, many of whom are women.
The SOPACDI was the first cooperative to achieve Fair Trade and Organic certifications in Congo and members of the organization represent several distinct ethnic groups.
This Costa Rica offering was sourced from the CoopeDota cooperative located in the small town of Santa Maria de Dota in central Costa Rica. Founded in 1960, CoopeDota has since expanded to 850 active members and is renown for being certified as the world's first carbon neutral coffee cooperative in March 2011.
CoopeDota continually strives to create a sustainable economic impact in the San Jose province, all while following a strict environmental protocol to maintain carbon neutrality and ensure that coffee may continue to grow in the world's changing climate.
Not only does CoopeDota operate their mill with exceptional environmental and social ethics, they also consistently produce some of the best coffees in Central America.
In the cup, this coffee exhibits flavors of sweet apple, cherry, and caramelized sugars.
For years, decaf coffee was an afterthought, but the recent emergence of the sugar cane decaffeination process is shifting more thought and higher quality into caffeine-free coffees. Our current Decaf offering has been sourced from five small producers in Colombia's central department of Caldas and naturally decaffeinated to create a delicious and clean cup.
Our Decaf Colombia is highlighted by strong notes of milk chocolate and subtle, juicy acidity that will leave devoted decaf drinkers questioning whether their coffee was stripped of its caffeine at all!
During the last several years many roasters have transitioned to lighter espresso blends, yet despite this recent fad, we have stayed true to our roots. Today we continue to roast and blend the classic espresso our customers have come to love during the last 20 years.
The bold, rich flavors from our Dark Espresso always finishes with a perfect layer of crema and can stand up to milk and sugar that compliment most espresso drinks.
Our Espresso combines subtle earthy notes from Indonesia with lively flavors from East Africa and South America to create an blend that is bright, full, and well-balanced.
The Abiyot Boru washing station is located in the Shakiso district of Ethiopia, about 60 miles from the world-famous Yirgacheffe region.
During the harvest season, small producers from the nearby area deliver ripe cherries to the washing station where they are carefully sorted, pulped, fermented, and washed. The washed parchment is sorted again, then placed immediately on raised beds which are constructed to ensure proper air circulation, ultimately providing the best quality and best-tasting coffees.

The ASPROCDEGUA cooperative in west-central Guatemala is comprised of 664 active members. In recent years, the co-op has implemented more sustainable practices and has been certified as Fair Trade Organic. Members of the cooperative have an average of two hectares of land where they grow coffee and other crops like citrus, bananas, and avocado to improve crop diversification.
Families associated with the cooperative are offered technical assistance such as soil analysis, farm testing, and have access to additional programs that offer members better access to healthy food and improved education. Programs like these are making a serious difference in coffee producing communities and in the overall quality of the product.
