Kenya Uteuzi Jimbo
Light Roast
NOTES: ELDERBERRY, KAHLUA, PANELA
Kenya’s high plateaus produce some of the most distinctive coffees in the world—vivid, winey, and sweetly layered. This selection, called Uteuzi Jimbo (Swahili for “county select”), brings together coffees from Nyeri, Embu, Muranga, and Kirinyaga—regions defined by volcanic soil, cool mountain air, and generations of careful cultivation.
We roasted this coffee to highlight its syrupy sweetness and lively fruit character. The cup opens with notes of elderberry and dark Kahlua, finishing with a clean, panela-like sweetness. It’s a striking, complex coffee that captures the essence of Kenya’s most storied growing regions.
