NOTES: HONEYSUCKLE, MANDARIN, MACAROON

A vibrant washed coffee from the famed highlands of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Produced at the Idido Washing Station, this lot represents the Malebo Project—an exclusive selection of Grade 1 seeds from the Idido area. Carefully washed, hand-sorted throughout an 18-day drying process, and rested to achieve ideal moisture content, it reflects the meticulous care that has made Yirgacheffe one of the most celebrated coffee regions in the world. A portion of proceeds also supports the Ardent Children Center, investing back into the local community.

This coffee offers the expressive, fruit-forward character Yirgacheffe is known for, with notes of mandarin, honeysuckle, and macaroon. Lively acidity sparkles at the front of the cup, followed by a silky body and a clean, tea-like finish. Elegant and aromatic, it’s a beautiful example of Ethiopia’s high-elevation terroir.
