Nestled in the mountains of Huehuetenango, the K-Finos cooperative exports many of the finest coffees in Guatemala.
Earlier this year, we discovered this coffee on a cupping table in Huehue while traveling with our friends from Cafe Imports. After cupping 100+ coffees during the course of the trip, we ultimately decided on this particular lot.
This high scoring coffee is comprised of the harvests of several producers from the region who have been paid a premium for their exceptional product. In the cup, this medium roast is balanced and has notes of red fruit and brown sugar.
Big Sky Lift is our signature blend of organic coffees from Colombia and Papua New Guinea. It's full-bodied, chocolatey, and approachable.

While traveling down the Yellowstone River in 1806, Captain William Clark discovered a small creek flowing out of western Montana’s Crazy Mountains. They later named this stream 'Big Timber Creek' in honor of the giant cottonwood trees that lined the banks of the crystalline waterway. Several decades later, pioneers settled this wide-open valley and designated the community 'Big Timber' after the Corps of Discovery.
This signature blend goes back to Yellowstone Coffee’s foundation and has remained a long-time favorite for brisk mornings on the river and powder days at Bridger Bowl.
This spring, we're pleased to partner with the The Greater Yellowstone Coalition for our seasonal community coffee, Spring Thaw.
Spring Thaw is our tribute to the wild places and animals of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. This coffee makes the perfect accompaniment during sunny spring mornings admiring new growth, and it helps ease the pain of southwest Montana's all-too-common spring snowstorms.
We blended a washed coffee from Huehuetenango, Guatemala with a naturally processed coffee from Vall de Grama, Brazil to create a cup that is super smooth with very low acidity. We pick up on notes of sweet caramel and silky milk chocolate in the cup.
A portion from every bag sold will be given to the Greater Yellowstone Coalition to ensure they can continue their good work in protecting the wild places and animals that make Montana the last best place.
