Nestled in the mountains of Huehuetenango, the K-Finos cooperative exports many of the finest coffees in Guatemala.
Earlier this year, we discovered this coffee on a cupping table in Huehue while traveling with our friends from Cafe Imports. After cupping 100+ coffees during the course of the trip, we ultimately decided on this particular lot.
This high scoring coffee is comprised of the harvests of several producers from the region who have been paid a premium for their exceptional product. In the cup, this medium roast is balanced and has notes of red fruit and brown sugar.
If mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. Mother Nature that is! Supporting healthier rainforests and sustainable farming communities is paramount in our business, and you can taste the devotion in every sip.
Our original treeline can is filled with more than a coffee that gets your morning rolling. A portion from every can sold goes toward supporting the Greater Yellowstone Coalition and protecting wild places near our home. These cans make thoughtful gifts or fun home decor!
Big Sky Lift is our signature blend that celebrates the Land of Shining Mountains and Montana's Big Sky.
This coffee's heavy body and smooth finish have made this a classic Yellowstone Coffee since 1998.
While traveling down the Yellowstone River in 1806, Captain William Clark discovered a small creek flowing out of western Montana’s Crazy Mountains. They later named this stream 'Big Timber Creek' in honor of the giant cottonwood trees that lined the banks of the crystalline waterway. Several decades later, pioneers settled this wide-open valley and designated the community 'Big Timber' after the Corps of Discovery.
This signature blend goes back to Yellowstone Coffee’s foundation and has remained a long-time favorite for brisk mornings on the river and powder days at Bridger Bowl.
